1. Do you do group shoots?
Yes, I do. I think group photos are very important part of the weddings, especially for the parents and the grandparents. If you wish to have some group shoots we will definitely do them. Usually I ask one of your ushers to help in gathering people together to speed the process up.
2. How long will you stay for on the wedding day?
As a documentary wedding photographer my aim is to create full story of your wedding day. I am happy to start photographing you early in the morning and stay till late in the night. I love my job and there is no reason to leave the wedding when the party is still on and lots of things are happening around.
3. Do you work on your own?
Yes, usually I work on my own. I try to blend in with the guests as much as possible, observe and capture the moments in a natural and unobtrusive way. But if it’s required I happy to organise a second shooter.
4. Do we need to meet first before book you?
I would love to meet you up before wedding. It is always good to get to know each other. Of course, sometimes due to the distance or other circumstance it may be difficult to arrange a meeting but we can always get in touch by email, phone or Skype to talk about the details.
5. What happens if you are ill on our wedding day?
Nothing stop me to photograph your wedding ! You trust me and I can not let you down. Unless I have a really serious problem, I will always be on your wedding day. I have a network of photographers across UK who can jump on job and help if needs to.
6. What happens after the wedding?
Probably you will go on your honeymoon and I will work on your photos. Once the pictures are ready you will be sent a link to your secure on-line gallery. It will take between one to eight weeks. USB stick, prints, albums etc. will be produced and sent to your post address in due time.
7. Do you travel?
Yes, I do. I am happy to travel throughout UK and abroad. Travel expanses within 100 miles from London will be covered by myself. For destination weddings or weddings further afield I would like to accommodation to be provided for the day before and after wedding.
8. How do we book you?
Please get in touch by contact form. If I am available I will send you my booking form to sign and return. A 20% of booking fee is required to secure the date.
9. There are no posed pictures in your portfolio. Do you take posed photographs?
Yes, I do. My main aim is to tell story of your wedding day with pictures. Most couples choose me because of my documentary approach to the wedding photography. To be honest it is what I do the best. Telling stories. But there is no reason not to take posed, natural photographs if you would like to have some. Its not uncommon that I disappear with bride and groom for 20 minutes to take some naturally posed photos.
